For Maven-based Java builds it is now possible to use jSMILE from BayesFusion's Maven repository. For more details, read the "Platforms and Wrappers/Java and jSMILE/Maven" section in SMILE Wrappers manual at https://support.bayesfusion.com/docs.
You need to call set_cont_evidence (instead of set_evidence) on the continuous nodes. Please refer to SMILE Wrappers manual, section 5.12.2 titled "Continuous Inference". Below you can find the fixed code which I was able to run (I also fixed the problem with the format specifier in get_be...
I read that SMILE would support networks with until 110 nodes or something. This is not true - SMILE will support networks with thousands of nodes - see the model with 2000+ nodes in our interactive web repository: https://repo.bayesfusion.com/network/permalink?net=Large+BNs%2FMachineDiagnosis.xdsl
The model you've sent in the private message has no nodes with defined diagnostic roles (all nodes are diagnostic auxiliaries by default). Please refer to GeNIe manual's section 'Defining diagnostic information' for a general overview. In SMILE wrappers, including rSMILE, the methods to set these at...

Below you can find the #defines from C++ SMILE headers. Note that in general different functions can return the same error code for different conditions. For example, an attempt to use the node with invalid handle will cause DSL_OUT_OF_RANGE error. Similarly, accessing the nonexisting node outcome c...
Error in diag$instantiateObservation("Perceived Policy Uncertainty", "High") : RSmile error occured SMILE Error Occured. Invalid node handle: -2 The first argument to DiagNetwork$instantiateObservation is either an integer node handle, or its identifier, which cannot contain spa...
Below you can find an example using rSMILE's diagnostic functionality. The code loads the HeparII model (one of the example networks distributed with GeNIe). The pursued fault is set to Cirrhosis=compensate and two observations are instantiated. During diagnosis, always use DiagNetwork$instantiateOb...
The other possibility is a set of inconsistent probabilities in the CPTs (all zero values in some column?). While GeNIe checks for the consistency when you enter the probabilities by hand, SMILE does not for performance reasons. Finally, for very large networks error -43 can occur when floating poin...
One possible reason for this error is the virtual evidence containing all zero values. Currently available version of SMILE does not check for this, we have fixed this problem in the next version of the library.

For EM in the dynamic network you'll need the text file which, in each row, has the values for each node and each time step. To ensure the automatic matching between the network and the data in GeNIe's UI you need to follow the naming convention for the data columns - for the initial step you need t...
Smile.NET is compiled with C++/CLI. The .NET Core support was added to C++/CLI quite recently (VS 2019 version 16.4). We're currently investigating if it is possible to actually build a mixed mode assembly (Smile.NET contains native x86/x64 code) for .NET Core. Please also note that Microsoft clearl...
