DBNs

Post by Mouhamad Agha »

Hi All,
I am a new participant in the forum. I am trying to build a DBN to support my research. I have got a quite big network (around 20 nodes with five states in each node). However, when I tried to run the model for four time slices, GenIe stopped working and gave me no response. I was wondering if this due to capacity of the software. So, the software cannot handle such a big problem with dynamic effects. Thank you any advance for any reply.

Hi Mouhamad,

Could you give some more details on your network, i.e. number of (temporal) arcs.
Or perhaps PM or email me (genie@sis.pitt.edu) your network so I can have a look if I see similar results?

Best,

Martijn

Hi Martijn,
Thank you very much. I sent you a sample example where the software does not correspond.

Thanks

Mouhamad
