I try to figure out how the visualization of the strength of influence in GeNIe works. Therefore I read Visualizing Inference in Bayesian Networks by J-R- Koiter, as it ws recommended somewhere in this forum.
I am wondering about equation 5.1:
How do we know that the dimensions of P(A) and P(B| A =ai) match?
Why need the number of states of A and B be the same? What does GeNIe do if this is not the case?
Thanks for your help,
The front end.
