Hello there,
I am creating a BN in genie using "noisy max" to model a "noisy and" node. In the help it is written that Genie applies the De Morgan´s law to make the following equivalence: P(A\HE,EF) ↔ P(¬A/¬HE,EF).
This statement is based on the variables for the accident-no accident example provided in genie's help.
I tried already to prove the statement myself; I mean how the De Morgan's conversion applies, from a "noisy and" to a "noisy or" node, but I can't find out why the probability of an accident happening is written in the box corresponding to no accident. Is it correct?
My model is working perfectly applying that rule.
I would appreciate a lot your help!
Greets,
Indira
