I do not know whether this is a bug, or an intentional feature of GeNIe: in the diagnostic window, if you choose a fault to focus on, it remains set as long as it has max probability among other faults; but hte focus automatically switches to another fault when it becomes most probable. I cannot attach a video because it is too large, but I attach an example net: to replicate the behavior, please:
1) diagnostic window, set Age to 74-85 and educatin low
2) focus on alzheimer disease (AD)
3) set the most useful test (HVLRT) to very low: the focus stays on AD
4) set the new most useful test (placing) to very high: the focus switches automatically to the most probable diagnosis, mild cognitive impairment (MCI)
I thought of warning you just in case it is a bug: this behavior is not described in the manual.
thanks

Re: Focus in diagnostic windows switch automatically
This is by design - we have implemented the diagnosis for the large organisation performing machine diagnosis.
We'll add an option to disable this behaviour in the next service release.

Re: Focus in diagnostic windows switch automatically
The most recent build (4.0.2221) will stop switching the pursued fault once you manually select your fault. There's no explicit option to control this in the UI, but we believe the new approach will work in all diagnostic scenarios.
