Test designed network

Post by heena »

Hello,
I have designed my network with sample data with help of genie. but how can i test my network with another dataset. i have follow the following procedure and create some case.
open data fie> data > copy case.
now it represent my network which i have designed with sample data and cases through which i can test my network. i even click on run and update button. but i am unable to understand how can i check my result and output or i have to set any node as target?

See the 'Validate' option in the 'Learning' menu. This option is available in the most recent GeNIe version (builds 2.0.4334.1 and later)

The documentation is not available, but the Validation dialog box should be self-explaining.

Hi Martin,
I am not able to use the validate or Learn parameter option to validate my data of testing set.
I am not able to drag and drop variable of my choice to get the confusion matrix.

Request your help on the same.

Thanks

Did you perhaps get any error messages?

When validating, a dataset file needs to be open and a (learned) network.
Next steps is matching the nodes in the network and the columns in the data file, this usually happens automatically (the finished result is in the center column, unmatched nodes and columns are on the left and the right respectively).
Then you should get the dialog screen for the validation setting, this should be pretty straightforward.

Could you give me more details on the steps you are taking?
