This may be too much to ask. But is there some realistic way to include an icon/small image of the user's choice in a Genie node (instead of just a plain text label)? For example, if we'd like to put a machine icon in a node that represents a server, and so forth....
Thanks a millions!

Re: Fancy Node Label ?
Sorry - there's no way to associate image/icon with the node. Your best bet is to set some Wingding-like font on the selected node and type the name using its icon-like character(s). Note that node ID can only contain letters, digits and underscore, but for node name you can type anything.

Good point, thx. But we'll then lose the text names though, were hoping to have both. Oh well.

You may try to place the text box above/below node, and set only node or the box to use Wingding font.owenchang wrote:Good point, thx. But we'll then lose the text names though, were hoping to have both. Oh well.

Oh, is it possible to just place an image of choice side-by-side (rather than inside) a Genie node then? Thanks a lot.shooltz wrote:Sorry - there's no way to associate image/icon with the node. That's a _text_ box, not image box; the thing you add in GeNIe after selecting the icon with uppercase A on the toolbar. The text box can be placed anywhere (it may overlap the node; in such case make sure that you use 'Bring to front' command to ensure it's actually visible).owenchang wrote:Oh, is it possible to just place an image of choice side-by-side (rather than inside) a Genie node then?
