SMILE and new GeNIe 2.2

Post by JulyVonApril » Wed Aug 09, 2017 1:37 pm

Hi all,

I am working with a hybrid Bayesian network using the newest version of GeNIe 2.2. I am using smile_vc14_x86 (the latest version for Visual Studio).

In GeNIe everything works just fine, however I have problems when I try to use the network using SMILE. I am getting errors such as:

Code: Select all

-51: Arc rejected by child node.
-103: Error at 97, 2 while loading BN_hybrid.xdsl: AddArc failed
-103: Error at 97, 2 while loading BN_hybrid.xdsl: SetProbabilities failed
I suppose, that they are caused by different node types. How I can rid of these errors?
Is it that the latest SMILE cannot work with hybrid networks, in which case is there a SMILE update planned that will work with hybrid networks?

Thank you

SMILE binaries available on our website were built before GeNIe 2.2 was released and don't support hybrid networks. We'll be updating publicly aviailable libraries in the near future.
