I use GeNie for framing out process problems using influence diagrams. Sometimes there is feedback so I'd like to be able to create cycles for illustration only. No calculations are required so the cycle is harmless computationally.

So could a switch be added that allows cycling with a warning ...

I'm running version 2.0.3259.0 I'm only a casual user right now. I noticed the new Equation Node type but can't find any documentation for it's use. It appears that the Help files have not been updated.

Can you point me to something?

During the exchange we had, I asked about BN visualized as Topic Maps. You told me Java does not work for BN's.

I changed the skin to default Windows XP and shut down and restarted Genie.

Had no effect.

Thanks for the sample model. Here's what happened

Open the model.

Text 1 is not visible although its dotted line rectangle is there
Text 2 is visible

When I double click on Text 2, the dotted lines become solid and I am placed in edit mode. I can successfully edit.

Thanks for the reply. But I still can't figure it out. I scanned through the Example models and well as the Clemons models I downloaded earlier hoping to find a text box already inserted. But no luck.

I think I remember solving the problem before, maybe with assistance from you guys. But if I did ...

When I add a Text Box to the canvas, a small rectangle appears but not the words "Type your text here". I also cannot add new text via the keyboard or paste text from the clipboard. Moreover, the block disappears when I mouse away from it, making me try to find it.
