Updating some beliefs, keeping others fixed
This seems like a beginner question but I cannot find an answer anywhere. I want to fix some nodes in my BN and update beliefs on the others. I do not want to fix beliefs on the 'set' nodes at 100% probablity of one of the states. I want to fix one node at say 75% rural, 25% urban and another at 30%...

Creating a node which sums the results of parent nodes' states
I am trying to figure out how to create a node which gives a result which is the sum of the 'dies' probabilities in its parent nodes. The parent nodes are all discrete and have two states 'lives' or 'dies'.
