I'd like to ask whether the JSMILE wrapper is compatible with GPL - that is, if I there is a way I could include this wrapper in a gpl covered program, even though that the SMILE framework itself isn't licensed under GPL.

Just dug up this thread, as I am in need of those references as well. So, what are these abbreviations refering to? Is [Mur02] possibly refering to this thesis?
