Re: jSMILE on Windows - compilation errors
Couldn't get it to compile even after adding jdk to the path in visual studio. Anyway, I used the new jSMILE win32 package and it runs fine now (no runtime error like in the linked post). Thanks!

Re: jSMILE on Windows - compilation errors
Are you sure javac is on your path? echo %PATH% C:\WINDOWS\system32;C:\WINDOWS;C:\WINDOWS\System32\Wbem;C:\Program Files\Java\jd k1.7.0_17\bin and javac.exe is in the bin directory. The post you're quoting describes a runtime error, not a compile-time issue, and is not related to the problem you're...

jSMILE on Windows - compilation errors
Hello, I develop an application which uses jsmile library. On Linux it runs correctly, but I cannot make it run on Windows. During compilation, it throws error like in this forum post: https://genie.sis.pitt.edu/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=962&hilit=SMILE+error+1+in+function+Learn&sid=d248...

DBN, inference algorithms and unrolling
Hello, I would like to know if the inference algorithms are applied on unrolled dynamic bayesian network (so that they are effectively applied on a static bayesian network), or if they use original dynamic bayesian network. I ask because when changing time step count I can see a comment that "E...

JSMILE - GPL compatibility
Hello,
I'd like to ask whether the JSMILE wrapper is compatible with GPL - that is, if I there is a way I could include this wrapper in a gpl covered program, even though that the SMILE framework itself isn't licensed under GPL.

Re: References for Dynamic Bayesian Networks
Just dug up this thread, as I am in need of those references as well. So, what are these abbreviations refering to? Is [Mur02] possibly refering to this thesis?
