Probably the best source for the state of the art research in graphical probabilistic models are proceedings of the annual Conference on Uncertainty in Artificial Intelligence (UAI). A similarly prestigious conference on the topic of probabilistic graphical models is the bi-annual European Conference on Probabilistic Graphical Models (PGM). It brings together researchers interested in all aspects of graphical models for probabilistic reasoning, decision making, and learning.
